Health coach software for a medical practice

Health coach software is the name people use for tools that schedule coaching, store a program, and message a client between sessions. A medical practice that includes coaching still needs a chart, orders, and a bill. Those are an EHR. VyeOS is for MD, DO and NP clinicians who want a practice of their own. This page is for that clinician. It is not a guide for a coach who does not hold one of those licenses.
What is health coach software?
It usually covers three jobs: a calendar, a plan the client follows between visits, and a message thread. That is enough for a coaching business. It is not enough when the same person also diagnoses, prescribes, or orders labs. As of October 13, 2026, 42 U.S.C. 17921 defines an electronic health record as an electronic record of health-related information on an individual that is created, gathered, managed, and consulted by authorized health care clinicians and staff. If you are writing that record, you need the EHR, not only the coaching app.
A practice can use a coach as part of the visit plan. The chart still has to show what the clinician ordered and what the patient was told. Two logins, one for coaching and one for the note, are how follow-up gets lost.
