Editorial policy
How Vye Health researches, writes, checks, and approves the guides and articles in its library, and how we choose the sources behind every page.
Who writes our pages
Pages in the Vye Health library are researched and drafted with AI tools that follow our editorial rules. A separate AI reviewer then checks each draft's facts, sources, and wording. A person at Vye Health reads and approves every page before it's published.
Health pages are reviewed and approved by Matt Vail, our Co-Founder and CEO. Our health review policy explains how that works.
Each page says who it's by. Pages by the Vye Health editorial team were drafted this way and approved by our editor. A page under a person's name, such as a founder's essay, carries that person's approval.
How we choose sources
Every statistic and clinical claim names its source, and each page lists its sources at the end. We rank sources by how strong they are:
- For questions about what works or what's safe, we start with clinical practice guidelines, systematic reviews, and randomized trials in people.
- Government health sources and studies that observe people fill in the background.
- Animal and lab studies are always labeled as such, and never presented as proof that something works in people.
We don't cite vendor or supplement-company pages, other clinics' sites, social media, or press releases as evidence.
Dates
Each page shows the day it was published and the day it was last updated. Facts that change, such as laws, prices, and regulatory status, are dated in the text.
Our relationships
Vye Health works with independent practices, and some of them offer services our pages discuss. Our reviews of therapies say so at the top, and they don't link to those practices.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, our corrections policy explains how to tell us and what happens next.
