Corrections policy

How to report a mistake on vyehealth.com, what we do after we hear from you, and how we correct published guides, essays, and policy pages.

Tell us about a mistake

Email practice-on-vye@vyehealth.com with the page's address and what's wrong. If you have a source that shows the right answer, include it.

What we do

We check the page against its sources and against yours. If the page is wrong, we fix it and change its "Updated" date. A fix to a health page goes back to Matt Vail, our Co-Founder and CEO, for review before it's published.

What this policy covers

This policy is the public route for a mistake on vyehealth.com. It covers published guides, essays, and policy pages. It does not cover a private message to a clinician, a bill, or a record inside the product. Those go through the product, not through this page.

A useful report names the page address and what is wrong. If you have a source that shows the right answer, include it. The address to use is the contact email on this page. One email can cover one mistake. If several pages share the same mistake, list each address.

After a report arrives, the page is checked against the sources it already cites and against the source you sent. If the page is wrong, it is corrected and its Updated date changes. A correction to a health page is reviewed by Matt Vail, Co-Founder and CEO, before it is published.

Sending a report does not by itself change the page, and this policy does not promise a clock. The change, when one is made, is the corrected text and the new Updated date. The same email address is the one listed on the facts page for reporting a mistake.
