What a DPC map is for

A DPC map is a directory people use when they search for a direct primary care clinic, often near where they live. The search is a finding problem, not a software feature. Vye does not publish a national map of clinics. A practice still needs a page that says where it is, who it sees, what the membership includes, and how to join.

Patients who want the model explained, including the fee and insurance, can start with what direct primary care is. AAFP's page is the family-physician version of that explanation.

What is a DPC map?

It is a list or a map of direct primary care practices, usually with a city and a way to contact the clinic. People type "dpc map" or "direct primary care near me" because the membership is local: they want a clinician they can actually see. A directory can help. It does not replace the practice's own page. If your name, city, and membership are missing from your site, a pin on someone else's map has nothing solid to point at.

This page does not list clinics, and it does not rank them. Building that directory is a separate product. The guide to starting a direct primary care practice is where you design the membership those patients would be joining.

What should your practice page show?

Write this on your own site before you ask any directory to list you:

  1. The city or cities where patients can see you, and whether visits are in person, by video, or both.
  2. Who the practice sees, and which problems you do not take.
  3. What the membership fee includes, and which labs, drugs, or specialists bill separately.
  4. How a new patient joins, and whether the panel is open.
  5. The clinician's license type, so a reader can tell a physician from another kind of practice.

The cash-pay guide is the worksheet for what the fee includes and what it does not. A directory listing that skips those facts sends the wrong patient, or a patient who expected a covered visit.

How can Vye help patients find the practice?

Vye runs patient acquisition for your practice: the practice website, SEO, directory listings, and Google and Meta ads on a budget you set. Vye can't promise how many patients you'll see. We help you grow your practice.

The website and the listings are how a practice shows up when someone searches. Ads are optional, and you set the budget. None of that is a DPC map of every clinic in the country.

The record those new patients land in is covered on the direct primary care EHR page.
